COVID-19 POSITIVE MANIPURI GIRL IS RECOVERING

Northeast India's first COVID-19 positive girl from manipur, age 23 is improving in JNIMS,Imphal. She was administered hydroxychloroquine as per ICMR instructions,reported by state health minister L. Jayanthakumar Singh on 25th march 2020.The girl and her brother were returing from Atlanta and arived Imphal by Air Asia flight on 21st march from Kolkata to Imphal via Agartala.

           A 50years old Mizo man was confirmed COVID-19 positive who was returning from Amsterdam,Holand on 16th march and the symptoms were appeared on 22nd march, tested at the GMCH, Guwahati and was confirmed on 25th march.

           Till date  a total number of 562 cases are confirmed in India out of which 519 are Indian, 43 are foreign national. Among them 41 were cured while 11 died.

New cases record: 50 ( after lock down ).



It is to be assumed that the new cases may be recorded in upcoming  3to4 days and then the number of cases will decrease due to complete isolation of the nation.Hence ,it is requested to all citizens of the nation to to succeed the isolation program and to fight against COVID-19.
